Duty of Care

How Global Concierge approaches traveler safety, operator vetting, risk monitoring, emergency response and the welfare of clients and their teams.

Our Approach

Duty of care means taking reasonable, proportionate steps to protect the safety and wellbeing of the people we serve. For family offices, corporations, teams and delegations, it also supports the obligations those organizations owe their own travelers.

Operator and Supplier Vetting

We work with licensed and insured operators and review credentials appropriate to each service. Our standards are set out on the Standards & Compliance page.

  • Aircraft operators holding the required air operator certification
  • Licensed, insured chauffeur and private hire partners
  • Compliant yacht, helicopter and security providers
  • Review of safety ratings and insurance where applicable

Risk Awareness and Monitoring

Before and during travel we consider destination conditions such as weather, civil unrest, health advisories, airspace restrictions and local regulations, and adjust routes or timing where reasonable. Travel advice is informational; final travel decisions remain with the traveler.

Medical and Special Needs

Tell us about medical conditions, mobility needs, allergies, dietary requirements and accompanying children or pets. Information is used only to plan the journey and shared on a need-to-know basis. Our medical concierge can coordinate private care and assistance but does not provide medical advice or emergency services.

Security and Confidentiality

Itineraries are shared only with those who need them to deliver the service. Close protection and armored transportation are arranged through qualified, licensed providers where legally permitted at the destination.

Emergency Support

Our concierge desk operates around the clock. If a traveler is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, contact local emergency services first, then notify the desk so we can coordinate support, communicate with family or office contacts and rearrange travel.

Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers should share accurate itineraries and contact details, follow crew, driver and security instructions, carry required documents and insurance, and report concerns promptly. We recommend appropriate travel, medical and evacuation insurance for every trip.

Organizational Clients

Corporate, family office and team clients can request named emergency contacts, traveler tracking preferences, approved supplier lists and post-incident reporting. Contact the concierge desk to agree a duty-of-care arrangement for your group.
